Dean of Impersonators, Rich Little will add some hilarity to LIFE's 16th Annual Lady In Red Gala

Palm Beach, FL -- On Friday, December 4, 2009, LIFE will host the 16th annual "Lady In Red" Gala at The Mar-a-Lago Club, Palm Beach. Lois Pope and Dick Robinson are Chairmen of this non-stop, fun-filled evening which will include cocktails and silent auction followed by dinner, dancing and hilarious entertainment by Dean of Impersonators, Rich Little.

Rich Little, Dean of Impersonators and master of over 200 voices comes to the 16th Annual Lady in Red Gala fresh from his recent engagement at the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas. His portrayals of personalities in show business, politics, and fiction continue dazzle audiences.


Rich has received 4 Stars: Hollywood Walk of Fame, Canada Walk of Fame, Las Vegas Walk of Stars and Palm Springs Walk of Stars. He was named "Comedy Star of the Year" by the American Guild of Variety Artists. The perpetrator of nine comedy albums and three HBO comedy specials, Rich Little's Christmas Carol with "W.C. Fields" as Scrooge, "Humphrey Bogart" as one of the ghosts and "Paul Lynde" as Bob Cratchit winning the Montreux Festival in Switzerland and earning an International Emmy.

Currently performing his showroom performance Will the Real Rich Little Please Stand Up and speaking engagements, Celebrities Who I've Known and Been Rich brings the audience an evening filled with laughter.

In November 2006, Rich performed on David Lettermen's Late Show which ranked its highest ratings of the season. He appeared on Comics Unleashed and was selected to entertain at the White House Correspondents' Association dinner.

Over the years Rich has been active with numerous organizations giving back to those in need. He was instrumental in opening the Rich Little Special Care Nursery in Ottawa Civic Hospital in Canada and has donated his time to help raise funds for several organizations including Child Haven of Nevada, California Burn Foundation, Heart Association and Lied Animal Shelter. In addition he has performed in USO Tours in support of our troops.

LIFE will also take great pleasure on this special evening to honor Rhoda & David Chase with The Philanthropist Extraordinaire Award. LIFE will proudly present Herme de Wyman Miro, Grande Dame of Palm Beach, with the prestigious Victoria Award. Leo Albert will be remembered with The Disabled Veterans LIFE Award, In Loving Memory.

This much anticipated start of the Palm Beach social season will begin at 6:30 pm with cocktails followed at 8:00 pm by dinner and dancing. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial and LIFE's Summer Camp Program for underprivileged and special needs children.
