Disabled Veterans' LIFE Memorial Foundation In 1998, Lois Pope co-founded the foundation to build a memorial in Washington, D.C. to honor our nation's
disabled veterans. Ground breaking is scheduled for 2008, and to date $25 million has been raised for the project. |
Sudan Project In September 2004, a $50,000 annual grant for the Sudan Project to the Congregation Har HaShem. |
Guatemala Water Project On February 29, 2000, LIFE made history by successfully completing the first water purification system in a Guatemalan village. This life-saving project will be replicated in other poverty-stricken and water contaminated villages. |
Dedication of the Lois Pope LIFE Center On October 26, 2000, The Lois Pope LIFE Center at the University of Miami Medical School opened its doors fulfilling Mrs. Pope's long-time dream of furthering research into spinal injuries, paralysis, and neurological diseases. |
